Rilla Richardson

Rilla is a passionate clinical psychologist who completed her Master of Psychology (Clinical) at Bond University. Rilla has a client-focused approach and is led by each individual’s needs in a collaborative way, ensuring she provides a supportive, genuine, and warm environment for individuals to share openly while they further develop their self understanding, knowledge, and skills. Rilla has a keen interest in the treatment of trauma and supporting adjustment following major life events.

 

Therapies:

As part of the collaborative process, each client and Rilla will determine different strategies and skills to implement based on a client’s needs and preferences. Rilla has formal training and experience in the implementation of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT).

 

Rilla is available to support adults in the areas of:

  • Trauma

  • Anxieties

  • Depression

  • Stress

  • Grief and Loss

  • Adjustment

  • Communication difficulties

  • Obsessions and compulsions
