Justyce Pengilly is a clinical psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She has experience providing therapeutic interventions and assessments to children, families, adolescents, and adults and has worked across a number of settings including hospitals, Indigenous health services, non-government organisations, and community services.
Justyce’s therapeutic style is warm, compassionate, client-centred, and strengths-based with a focus on supporting clients to explore their experiences, emotions, thoughts, and behaviours and implement strategies and skills in a safe, non-judgemental space.
Justyce uses evidence-based interventions including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Family Therapy. She always works with her clients using a trauma-informed approach.
She has experience working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, complex trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder,
obsessive-compulsive disorder, grief and loss, interpersonal issues, emotion dysregulation, and self-esteem issues. Justyce has a special interest in working with trauma survivors, as well as families in need of parenting support.
