Justyce Pengilly

Justyce Pengilly is a general psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is currently completing the Clinical Registrar program. She has experience providing therapeutic interventions and assessments to children, families, adolescents, and adults and has worked across a number of settings including hospitals, Indigenous health services, non-government organisations, and community services.


Justyce’s therapeutic style is warm, compassionate, client-centred, and strengths-based with a focus on supporting clients to explore their experiences, emotions, thoughts, and behaviours and implement strategies and skills in a safe, non-judgemental space.


Justyce uses evidence-based interventions including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Family Therapy. She always works with her clients using a trauma-informed approach.


She has experience working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, complex trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder,

obsessive-compulsive disorder, grief and loss, interpersonal issues, emotion dysregulation, and self-esteem issues. Justyce has a special interest in working with trauma survivors, as well as families in need of parenting support.
